Solar Stove [Solo Project]
My idea with this stove is to be very portable, easy to set up and pack up, durable, and long-lasting. I want this product to be of ease of use and easily understood. My idea is to have either a one or two heating element stove with a solar panel on the backside of the stove attached to the windshield of the stove. The solar panel would be attached with a durable hinge so that the solar panel can be adjusted up and down to get the best angle for where the sun is at. While the stove is packed up, the solar panel will be visible on top. Using a power pack, the solar panel would be able to charge the power pack while it is packed up. I think this would be a great feature for the product because it would be a time-saving function and while camping or in a survival situation, time is a very limited factor. I would include a battery pack inside the stove so that the user would have the option to cook at night and not be limited to only cooking during the day. For operation at night or in the dark, the controls would be glow in the dark or light up by the push of a button. This product would be a great product for the everyday camper, a family that likes to go camping on the weekends, and even the hardcore survivalist camper. My prediction for the cost of this product would be around $100 to $150 in price due to the high quality of the product.
